The historic city wall of the island of Diu has stood strong since the 16th century and connects the island's northern and southern shores. With 12 bastions and 08 stairways which allow people to climb up, the wall serves today, as the perfect lookout for tourists wishing to discover the historic tales of the city. However, it's condition has been deteriorating over the past few decades. This intervention aims to restore the city wall's identity and memory through a restrained approach involving restoration, conservation, surface upgradation and lighting.
